my current work is largely focused on labor accounting for the sales office. a little after i joined the company, it was decided that older part-time workers would be brought in, with me as the administrator. at the time, i was in my 20s, and i often talked with the part-timers in an almost cheeky way-but that didn't build their trust. it was hard, working by myself and i was often crying on the job.
so i had a change of mind in how to gain the trust of the part-time workers we were entrusting with work. and they began to suggest how to improve the ways we were doing things. i was really happy when this made them smile.
changing just one task can make the job easier for the person who performs it. the customer will also be pleased with the result. i'm always thinking about our work, and the measures we can take for further improvement.
with my own hands, i am making things that are used all over the world.
