creation of medical information databases
we have created databases of medical supplies (approximately 200 manufacturers and 49,000 items) and published these in the form of a dictionary of medical supplies, of which 10,000 items are listed. the dictionaries are distributed to approximately 8,000 hospitals throughout india. all products listed are given a 2d barcode, a first in india, to develop a medical information infrastructure. to date*, the hospital and doctor databases contain information on 50,000 hospitals and 75,000 doctors, respectively. utilizing these three information platforms, we will contribute to the expansion of japanese medical-related companies by further developing the distribution network for medical supplies and drugs and through unique proposals by carna medical database pvt. ltd.’s, which combine the data from hospitals and doctors across india.
